Can I cancel an exchange if I have already paid for it?
If you have already paid for the order, cancellation is not possible. You can cancel the order before the actual payment is made. Additionally, if the order is not paid within the allotted time, it will be automatically canceled.
I gave the wrong details and the money did not come, what to do?
Unfortunately, we will not be able to return your funds because they were not actually sent to us. The only thing we can do is to give you the details of where the money has gone. Be careful what you enter!
Is it possible to exchange an amount that is greater than what is listed on the site?
Yes, it is possible. Contact the operator via live chat or create a ticket to discuss the details of the exchange. We will try to provide our reserves with the necessary funds for your operation. You can also leave a request on the site to track the reserve and when we will have the amount you need, you will be notified by email.
Important conditions for Bitcoin exchange
  • Send the exact amount excluding the fee, otherwise the payment may be delayed for an extended period;
  • Select a fee with high priority, otherwise the payment may take 2-4 hours, and the service may reject it;
  • If there is no confirmation within the allotted exchange time or if there are significant rate fluctuations, the exchange will be completed manually at the Bitcoin rate at the time of confirmation, based on data from mempool.space.
I transferred cryptocurrency, but did not receive my money
Cryptocurrency exchange operations are processed only after receiving the required number of confirmations in the network, as specified when creating the order. This information is also provided on the payment page. Please wait until our system receives the necessary number of confirmations in the blockchain, after which the payout will be initiated. The approximate waiting time after receiving the required confirmations is 5-15 minutes.
Bitcoin transaction is not confirmed for a long time. What does this mean?
Bitcoin blockchain transactions can often remain in the state of "Unconfirmed Transaction." This usually happens when one of the operations takes a long time to process. According to Bitcoin network rules, such a problematic transaction gets attached to another block and then follows the standard procedure. If this doesn't happen, within 1-7 days, the funds are returned to the sender. Unfortunately, our exchange service cannot influence the processing speed of such transactions. If a payment is delayed for an extended period, the situation with the order will be resolved after the payment is either credited or returned to the sender. This will result in either the completion of the order or its cancellation with the return of all financial obligations to each party. The decision is made on a case-by-case basis.
My transaction was confirmed on the blockchain, but the request at the exchanger has already been cancelled. What should I do?
Sometimes this happens if the time to get the blockchain confirmation exceeds the time allotted for payment of the request. If the blockchain confirmation is received later than the payment deadline, don't worry! Contact a live chat operator or create a ticket and they will help you!
The status of the request has changed to "successfully completed", but I have not received funds to my account
Our exchange service sends a payout request to acquirers or initiates a payout through cryptocurrency networks. As soon as we receive a notification of a successful transfer (not just the crediting), we promptly inform the user. Although in 99.5% of cases funds are credited to our clients' cards instantly, there is a regulation within the MPS under which the payment system and participating banks guarantee the crediting of funds to clients' cards within up to 5 business days. What does my transaction status mean?

During the transaction process, you can see the following statuses:

  • The Created status means we created your request and gave it a unique AvanChange transaction ID.
  • The Waiting for payment

    status means that we are awaiting your payment.
  • The Confirming

    status means that we are waiting for enough confirmations on the blockchain.
  • The Exchanging

    status means that we sent your funds to the exchange platform.
  • The Sending

    status means we’ve exchanged your money and sent it to your receiving address.
  • The Complete

    status means that your transaction is completed successfully, and your funds are already in your wallet.
  • The Failed

    status means that your transaction was declined for some reason. Please check your inbox for more info or feel free to reach out to our support team to learn more.
  • The Expired

    status means you didn’t send money (or did it too late) when making a fixed-rate transaction.
Can I send coins directly to your wallet without creating a new transaction?

No, you can’t. If the address has already been used, then you cannot send funds to it again. You need to go to the main page and create a new transaction so that the system gives you a new pay-in address.

The fixed-rate address is available only within 15–20 minutes after initiating the transaction. The floating-rate address is available for 1-2 hours. Everything paid later can only be processed manually according to the current market conditions. Please contact our support team if you happen to send any funds to an expired address.

What is the minimum exchange amount?
The minimum exchange amount is specified in the exchange creation form and may vary depending on the direction, as each payment method has its own individual minimum amount.
Is it mandatory to provide an email when creating an exchange?
Yes, an email is required to contact the client or to update payment details if necessary. It is also used to send notifications to the user at every stage of the exchange.
How long does it take to transfer funds to my bank card?

Do I need to get verified?

It depends on the transaction you have initiated: fiat purchase or crypto exchange. For example, while we do not ask you to go through verification in 99% of exchange cases, our security specialists can still sometimes ask you to verify your account. Our system flags suspicious transactions in accordance with our risk-scoring algorithm when:

  • Users create multiple accounts with disposable emails.
  • Users try to intentionally mislead us during the KYC procedure (fake or blurred documents, etc.).
  • We detect mixers and/or black market wallet addresses and more.

When you are to purchase crypto with fiat, you need to verify your identity by passing the KYC process. The KYC is required for most purchases, if it’s your fist time using a certain provider. However, some providers have no-KYC limits which you can find out by contacting our support team.

I didn’t receive my account activation email

If you didn’t receive your email with a verification link immediately, please wait at least 5 mins since it can be delayed. If nothing changes, follow the instructions:

  • Check the Spam folder.
  • Search for «AvanChange» in your inbox.
  • Use the «Forgot password» button to get an email to create a new password and sign in successfully.

I forgot the password to my AvanChange account

If you forgot your password, go to the sign-in page, fill in your email address, and click the «Forgot password» button. We’ll send you an email to reset your password.

How is my account secured?

To eliminate any fraud associated with our service, we integrated 2-factor authentication into each account. How does 2FA make your account more secure?

  • It protects your username and password.
  • Only you have access to your authentication app.

You can enable this feature in your profile settings. Each time you log in to your AvanChange account, you will get a unique code generated via Google Authenticator that should be entered in the corresponding field.

How to delete an account on AvanChange?
This function is not available in our service. However, if you have a good reason why you want to delete your account, write to technical support.

What is the difference between the "Best" and "Fixed" course types?

Best Rate: The system searches for the best possible rate for you; however, the final amount you receive may be automatically adjusted in the event of significant market fluctuations. Please note that the floating rate can change either for the worse or for the better, depending on the current rate of the selected currency on CoinMarketCap.

Fixed Rate: The system locks in the rate when you create the order, holding it for the entire time allotted for your exchange. On average, this is 30 minutes. These types of exchanges typically have a shorter order lifespan, so we recommend choosing this option for cryptocurrencies that receive confirmations in the network (blockchain confirmations) within a few minutes.

Why did the exchange rate change during the exchange process?

In most cases, we offer a fixed rate for exchanges, unless there are significant market fluctuations in currency pairs. The system considers a fluctuation of more than 0.5% within a few minutes as significant. In such cases, the system switches to a “floating rate” mode. This mechanism was implemented to protect the service from sudden rate spikes. As a result, the exchange rate may be adjusted either in your favor or ours, depending on market movements.

If you need the exchange amount to remain unchanged throughout the entire transaction, we recommend selecting the “fixed rate” option when creating the exchange.

I need a specific amount, how to exchange without changing the rate?
We also offer the option to exchange without any rate changes during the time allotted for your order. On average, this time is 30 minutes, which is more than enough for most transactions and for receiving the required number of confirmations in the network. To use this option, switch the mode from “Best Rate” to “Fixed Rate” in the exchange form. In this mode, the rate will be slightly lower than in the “Best Rate” mode to protect the service from sudden fluctuations. However, you will receive exactly the amount specified in your order.
With what type of exchange rate is it profitable to exchange?

If you're confident that the rate won't fluctuate significantly (more than 0.5%) before receiving the required number of confirmations, we recommend choosing the “Best Rate” method, as it doesn't include an additional fee to cover our risks. This method will give you the most favorable offer.

In general, try to use the “Best Rate” method for currencies that confirm quickly in the network and are not prone to high volatility.

What happens if I choose "Best Rate" and the rate changes more than 0.5% in my direction?
If this happens in the time allotted to the application and before the required number of confirmations, then an automatic recalculation will be made and you will receive more than the original application was due.
What happens if I choose "Best Rate" and the rate changes more than 0.5% NOT in my direction?
In this case, again, will be recalculated, but unfortunately, you will get less than what was originally specified in the order form. Recalculation will be made at the time of fixing a new rate from CoinMarketCap. The average time of rate update is 1-5 minutes.
Will the exchange rate change after receiving confirmation?
No. After receiving payment confirmation and/or the required number of blockchain confirmations, the system will lock in the current rate, and the payout will be processed accordingly.
If the rate went up in my favor, will you send the amount more than in the original application?
Certainly. If the exchange rate changes by more than 0.5% in your favor, an automatic recalculation in your favor will be made. As a result, you will receive more than the amount initially shown when you created the order.
If the rate went down in my favor, do I get less?

How do I get a crypto wallet?
First things first. To initiate any activity on the blockchain, you need to set up a crypto wallet. The crypto wallet is an essential part of your crypto activity. It must be a reliable, secure, and convenient solution to send and receive cryptocurrency.
What's the recipient’s address?

In any transaction, there is always a sender and a recipient. On AvanChange the recipient address is the wallet address where you will receive the currency after an exchange or purchase is completed. For example, if you want to get Ether (ETH), you should specify an ETH wallet address in the recipient field, and AvanChange will send coins to this address once the transaction is completed.

In general, the recipient’s wallet address is the customer’s address to which AvanChange will send coins once the transaction is completed. Specify only the wallet address to which you definitely have access.

What is a hash?

A hash is a unique identifier of a blockchain transaction. It acts as a record or proof that the transaction was conducted. Usually, a hash is a combination of digits and lowercase letters (uppercase in the case of XRP). A hash is assigned to every payment in cryptocurrency; you can find it in the transaction details in your wallet.

KYC & Security

Does AvanChange have KYC?

Is AvanChange anonymous? Well, we might ask you to pass KYC. However, it’s not a requirement for every user. You can create exchange with fiat currency to get verification form, pass KYC, to live more peacefully.

We understand that the whole process might be annoying, but the more criminals are caught, the safer and more secure the crypto space will be for all of us.

How long does it take to verify on AvanChange?
This usually takes 5-10 minutes, in rare cases verification can take 24 hours. Sometimes it can take longer for security reasons, when our security department needs a detailed review of a particular case.
Why should I complete the KYC procedure?

We rarely ask our users to pass the KYC procedure. However, if our risk-scoring algorithm identifies any risk-scoring activity, we will ask you to provide us with some verification info. Our system flags these transactions when:

  • Virtually any exchange transaction involving fiat
  • Users create multiple accounts using disposable emails
  • Users try to cheat us during the KYC procedure
  • We detect mixers and/or black market wallet addresses and more.
Why are my documents rejected?

There are some cases where your KYC can be rejected:

  • You’re a resident of a country we do not operate in
  • There have been discrepancies (mismatch) between your face and the face on the ID you provided
  • We have discovered your documents to be fake and/or edited
  • The photos are blurry
  • and more…

If your KYC gets rejected, our security team will contact you to resolve the issue and help you to pass the procedure again when possible.

We want to ensure that all of our users pass KYC successfully, so we do our best to contact every person who has expressed dissatisfaction with our service and help them resolve their issues. However, there are cases where applications are rejected not because of a user’s honest mistake, but because the person who submitted it purposefully attempted to deceive us.

While criminals get taken care of by the police, the kind of fraudsters who either don’t understand the role of AML compliance in mass adoption or don’t care about the future prosperity of crypto can roam free. In some cases, they start spreading negative feedback on the Internet in hopes that we will make an exception for them in exchange for positive publicity.

However, because we take AML very seriously, we will not compromise our commitment to the security of our customers and services.

How is my personal information stored?

Since we care about the security of your data, we store all your personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, e.g., GDPR.

The data is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures that are required according to data privacy laws and regulations.

How long can my transaction be on hold?

Sometimes, it can take us several weeks or even months to check your transactions. This is because a bunch of different stakeholders can be involved in the review process. In most cases, such a lengthy investigation will not be needed.

We actively work with agencies and regulators to make the crypto sphere more transparent for all market participants. Since we are not the only ones involved in the investigations, we cannot estimate the exact time required to clarify all the circumstances.

General Troubleshooting

I can’t log in
First of all, check your password and login carefully. If you still can’t log in to your AvanChange account, clear cache and cookies in your browser settings. If the problem persists, address your issue to the support team.
I didn't receive a password recovery email

If you didn’t receive your password recovery email immediately, please wait at least 5 mins since it can be delayed. If nothing changes, follow the instructions:

  • Check the “Spam” folder.
  • Search for “AvanChange” in your inbox.
  • If those two solutions didn’t help, address your issue to our support team.
I forgot to indicate a Memo or destination tag for my recipient address

Your money is sent as an unassigned transaction to your wallet provider. Please contact the support team of your wallet to find a solution.

Promocodes

How many times can a single promo code be used?

The promo code can be used once. If you applied a promo code to a request but did not complete it (i.e., you didn’t make the payment), the promo code will still be linked to your account, yet you retain the right to use the same promo code for another request until it has been redeemed.

Can I share the promo code with a friend or activate it from another account?

Yes, you can share a promo code with a friend.

Multi-accounting is prohibited by the service. Please review the service rules (section 11.6).

How can I withdraw the 5 USD credited to my account balance?

The personal account balance on AvanChange is designed for quick exchange transactions, including payouts. Currently, the minimum exchange amount is above 5 USD, but you can top up your balance and participate in various service activities to earn more funds in your personal account. Once your accumulated balance reaches the minimum threshold for the desired direction, you’ll be able to exchange it for the currency you need.

What is the validity period of the promo code?

Each promo code has a unique expiration period and a specific number of redemptions, depending on the promotion and distribution strategy. Typically, when we announce a contest or bonus on our social media, we specify the promo code’s validity period.

In any case, feel free to try applying the promo code you found when creating a request. If there’s no expiration error and the code applies successfully, then you’re all set!

What happens if I don’t manage to use the promo code in time? Will you provide a new one?

Promo codes are part of a marketing campaign and a way to reward our most loyal and valued clients. However, the service is not obligated to reissue a promo code to a user who was unable to use a previous one or found it on our social platforms.
